Vendor Inspections and Reports

These reports detail obvious visible defects and are brought to the attention of the vendor.

The purpose of the report is to inform the vendor of the defects so “rectification work”  or “replacement of the defects” may be undertaken prior to placing the property on the market.

The vendor report is not intended to be used as  a pre purchase inspection report as the report  does  not comply with AS 4349.1-2007.

The NSW government is looking at introducing Vendor Reports as part of the Sale process. I

If the new NSW legislation for vendor  reports is  approved by Parliament  after being  debated than the Vendor Reports will  reflect the changes  in the legislation to comply with the sale of property in NSW.
